PandaGuarantee grew out of experience in student housing, where we watched hundreds of dependable tenants pay rent on time for years. When they left to sign their own leases, they often asked us why their guarantor fees were so high.
We could see from our own experiences that those fees didn't accurately reflect their risk, and we started PandaGuarantee to offer a fairer, more affordable alternative.
Our Goal
Mediate the relationship between renters and landlords. In the aggregate, renters are reliable and will pay rent on time. In fact, that truth is the mathematical foundation of our business. But because even a small number of defaults can be costly, landlords often have to apply conservative screening standards that exclude otherwise qualified applicants. By insuring landlords against tenant default, PandaGuarantee enables landlords to accept edge-case applicants that they would have otherwise turned away.
