The Default: Tenants Pay

By default, the tenant pays for all of Panda's products — PandaGuarantee, PandaDeposit, and PandaRenters.

The Owner-Paid Option

For PandaGuarantee and PandaDeposit, you as the owner have the option to pay instead.

Some owners choose to do this when they want the additional protection these products offer, but don't want to add extra costs to the tenant. Covering the cost yourself lets you secure the protection on every lease without affecting your tenants' move-in costs — which can also make your listings more attractive to prospective renters.

How to Set It Up

You can choose to pay for a tenant's PandaGuarantee or PandaDeposit coverage on the Applications page of your dashboard. Invite a tenant like normal, and once they've been approved you can access and pay the invoice by clicking on their application.

The tenant is still required to sign an agreement of indemnity with us even if you are the one paying for coverage.
