The beneficiary is the person or company a bond is written in favour of — and who a claim pays out to. It should be the property's legal owner, such as the owning LLC, rather than a managing agent or brokerage.
Where it's set
Each property has its own beneficiary. Go to Properties, click the property, enter the exact legal name in Beneficiary Entity and click Save changes.

You can also include it in a bulk import as a Beneficiary Entity column. If a property doesn't have one, we ask for it when you confirm a tenant's lease details.
Warning
If it's left blank, bonds for that property name the account holder instead. That's the most common reason a bond shows the wrong name — a brokerage instead of the owner, for example.
Fixing the name on a bond
- Future bonds: update the property's Beneficiary Entity. Every bond issued after that uses the new name.
- A bond that's already issued: update the property first, then email support@pandaguarantee.com with the policy number and we'll reissue the bond. Your existing bond stays in force until the new one is issued.
